The first Malmö Derby Festival is over, and for us – a huge success! This has been an amazing experience and we are so grateful to all of you who helped us make it happen.
The love and the positive response we have felt is greater than we could ever imagine and we hope that this Derby Love will continue and grow in Malmö, Scandinavia and Europe for many years to come. We hope to start planning for next year pretty soon and if you have creative feedback or something you want to contribute with – please don’t hesitate to contact us at email@example.com
We hope to see you next year !

Don´t miss this! We´ll be at Stapln, weather will be great and this will be a nailbiter!
No time for updates, we´re having too much fun! Jamskating, scrimmages and workshops are all going on down at Stapelbäddsparken. We had some rain, but track is dry and boutready again.
There´s roller derby merch, unicorn earrings and grilled corn to buy so bring some cash if you want to shop.
The festival poster can now be seen around Malmö, and we would like to thank Theo Svensson for making the fab picture!
Malmö has been finecombed (as we say in swedish) to find a back-up locale large enough in case of rain. Our back-up locale for bouts and Pick-up scrimmages is Limhamns Ishall. The schedule will be slightly changed in this case, with bouts pushed together. Note that only the bouts and scrimmages are being moved, rest of the festival is still on at Stapelbäddsparken. And if there’s only minor showers of rain we will try to stay on the track – if we move the bout temporarily the start time will be about half an hour after the original schedule. The schedule below is in case of a very rainy day – we will post on this site if the bouts are moved. But let’s hope and dance for sun!

Limhamns Ishall has a capacity of 600 and sportscort. This is where Malmö recently played Glasgow rollergirls and Cork City Firebirds, and it is also CCRs premiere training facility. It is around 5 km from Stapelbäddsparken, and ca 20 min by bus.
Map to Limhamns Ishall is here.
Sportscort means hard wheels- think 93/95.
Why not watch the Sweden-Denmark game at 14.00, get inspired and pick up the skates yourself? Try out Roller derby on Friday between 16.30 – 17.15. We will have skates and gear to loan, and Jammers Ankefar and Curly Håår will teach you all their tricks. Aspiring refs, skaters, jamskaters are as welcome as the ones who just want to try out standing on quads.
